Anadolu Isuzu Reveals Novo VOLT at Busworld Europe 2023
During Busworld Europe in Brussels on October 6th, 2023, Anadolu Isuzu reached a significant milestone by unveiling the Novo VOLT. “Today we introduce you to our first electric Service and Tourism bus, the Novo VOLT, which is set to commence sales at the beginning of 2025,” announced Tuğrul Arıkan, General Manager of Anadolu Isuzu. “Our midibus models have been warmly welcomed by our customers for many years in numerous markets. Meticulously designed, the Novo VOLT is Anadolu Isuzu’s inaugural electric midibus crafted specifically for the service and tourism segments. With zero fuel emissions, reduced noise levels, and efficient operation, it’s a perfect match for medium to long-distance travels, setting a new benchmark in automotive sustainability. Guests at the unveiling witnessed a vehicle that skilfully combines aesthetic appeal with practical functionality. The Novo VOLT, with its spacious interior spanning 7.3 meters in length, comfortably seats up to 29 passengers. Powered by a robust 320-kW electric motor, the vehicle has a 165-kWh battery that provides a range of 225 km, meeting the performance expectations for its class.
Sharing the limelight with the Novo VOLT was the Citi VOLT 12, a 12-meter, fully electric bus. This remarkable vehicle was bestowed with the “Safety Bus” Excellence Label by Busworld, which reaffirms Anadolu Isuzu’s unflagging dedication to environmental responsibility and the safety of passengers and drivers.
