Detroit, MI Officials Visit Dunamis Charge’s New 33,000-Square-Foot Facility Ahead of Grand Opening Next Week

Detroit, Michigan, has long been known as “Motor City,” the leading city for motor vehicle production in America. By the mid-twentieth century, Detroit had firmly established itself as the heartbeat of America’s automobile industry. At that time, the city was the home base for the “Big Three” auto firms – General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler – astonishingly, one in every six working Americans was directly or indirectly employed by the auto industry. This era marked a time of incredible growth and prosperity for Detroit, with the automotive giants driving the city’s economic landscape.

In 2023, Detroit’s automotive business is growing in an exciting new direction. With the advent of electric vehicles, the EV revolution is sweeping the nation and growing fast. Detroit is again taking the lead in automotive innovation, with a new manufacturer of EV charging equipment, Dunamis Charge, coming onto the scene.
