800-volt Architecture Supports High-performance Charging Capabilities

The 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron utilizes an advanced Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture featuring an innovative 800-volt battery system. This system comprises a lithium-ion battery pack with 12 modules of 15 prismatic cells each, totaling 180 cells and offering a gross capacity of 100 kWh (94.4 kWh net).

The 800-volt architecture supports the Q6 e-tron’s high-performance charging capabilities, allowing it to achieve a maximum DC fast-charging rate of 270 kW. This high charging rate enables the Q6 e-tron to go from a 10% to 80% state of charge (SoC) in approximately 21 minutes. Under optimal conditions, this setup can add up to 135 miles of range in just around 10 minutes of charging at a 270 kW-equipped DC fast-charging station.

The 800-volt system, combined with the new preconditioning feature and advanced predictive thermal management of the PPE platform, facilitates these rapid charging capabilities. This allows for practical and efficient charging stops, enhancing the overall convenience and usability of the Q6 e-tron for long-distance travel.

New Infotainment System
