The Exciting 2025 VW ID. Buzz Electric Bus Coming Late Fall 2024

Volkswagen of America revealed pricing and the EPA-estimated range for the ID. Buzz, the highly anticipated electric version of the iconic Microbus. Starting at $59,995 for the Pro S model, $63,495 for the Pro S Plus, and $65,495 for the limited 1st Edition, the ID. Buzz will make its U.S. debut later this year. The EPA-estimated range is 234 miles for rear-wheel-drive models and 231 miles for 4Motion all-wheel-drive versions, making it competitive for electric vehicles in its category.

The ID. Buzz’s design combines retro charm with modern features, highlighted by an oversized VW logo, short overhangs, and expansive windows. A range of customizable exterior and interior color combinations allows customers to personalize their vehicles. North American models will feature exclusive interior designs, including the newly introduced Copper and Moonlight color schemes. Copper delivers a mid-century modern aesthetic with brown leatherette seats and yellow piping, while Moonlight offers a darker, more dramatic interior with deep brown seats and blue accents. The previously unveiled Dune interior, with its bright and coastal-inspired design, pairs light grey seating with clay-colored piping and a light wood-look dash.
