EVOA Partners with Williams to Electrify the Iconic EvoJet 70e

In an innovative collaboration, EVOA has joined forces with Williams, a leading manufacturer of yacht tenders, to electrify the world-class EvoJet 70. This effort aims to meet the growing demand for sustainable yachting solutions and silent-operation boats, enhancing user experiences in populated areas. While they recognize the challenges in power requirements for water propulsion compared to cars, Williams maintains a focus on utilizing top-tier components, including high-output batteries and motors, to address these needs.

“Williams made a specific request with tight requirements for range, power, weight, and size of the overall system,” said Josh Stoddard, EVOA’s Head Engineer. “This relied on developing new battery packs, motor drive, and control system.”

Leveraging EVOA’s innovative technologies, Williams has developed an electric version of its luxury yacht tender, the EvoJet 70e.

This step marks a significant move toward innovation in propulsion systems, driven by recent growth in the larger yacht market. Williams plans to display the EvoJet 70e at its next stop, Boot Düsseldorf, to offer a glimpse into the future of sustainable luxury yacht tenders.
