Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Miami-Dade County

Daniella has been an invaluable supporter of the plan to build a more connected Miami-Dade. Continuing the work she began as County Commissioner, Daniella advocates for a transportation system focused on efficient operations, resilience, and innovation. She continued to champion climate resilience by fighting to make climate-friendly investments, from converting our County’s transportation fleet to electric and investing in shore power at Port Miami. During her tenure, Levine Cava has advocated for the protection of the environment. In 2017, she sponsored the resolution to support the Paris climate agreement. We’re excited to hear from Mayor Levine Cava and her team again at CoMotion MIAMI.

Kevin Noertker Co-Founder & CEO, Ampaire Inc

Over the past 8 years, Kevin and the Ampaire team have pioneered practical, compelling electrified flight through the upgrade of existing aircraft types. In 2019 they flew the world’s largest hybrid electric aircraft. In 2020 and 2021 they deployed and demonstrated electrified flight with multiple airlines across the globe. With over 25,000 miles flown hybrid and 12+ regulatory flight approvals across three countries to date, they’re a leader in hybrid electric aviation. We can’t wait to hear from Kevin to explore advancements in AAM, new fuel solutions, and implementation.

Last year’s event featured “New Frontiers in EV Charging, Long Regional Plans & Emerging Mobility.” While charging infrastructure was once the exclusive purview of the federal government, political headwinds and changing standards have meant new private actors are entering with their own solutions to expand the charging landscape, from EV-as-a-service to modular designs. How will these new additions fit into existing networks, and how will they scale rapidly and reliably enough to meet the growing demand?

The panel featured Tiya Gordon, Co-Founder & COO, itselectric, Ashley Rich, Chief Customer Officer, EV.Pro Anuj Chokshi, Director, Florida Power & Light Development Carlos Cruz Casas, Chief Innovation Officer, Miami-Dade County DTPW (Moderator).
