EV Tech OEM IndiGO Technologies Hits Major Milestone with Unveiling at ACT Expo
Last week, IndiGO Technologies, a robotics-focused Smart EV OEM founded by a team out of MIT, made a momentous announcement and unveiling at the Advanced Clean Transportation Expo (ACT Expo), the nation’s largest, longest-running clean transportation event, in Anaheim, California. On May 1, 2025, Will Graylin, Chairman & CEO of indiGO Technologies, released photos and information about the exciting unveiling on his LinkedIn account.
Graylin said, “A huge thank you to our team and investors, including FedEx, Foxconn, and FM Capital, for helping indiGO hit another major milestone in funding and product development, unveiled yesterday at ACTExpo 2025. The response from the crowd was overwhelming, with many seeing the Flow Cargo and Flow Ride up close and getting behind the wheel of the Dash for the very first time.”
Graylin continued, “Our Flow EVs, powered by our patented SmartWheels™ with built-in active suspension, introduce a whole new vehicle architecture. They enable a low flat floor, 30% more usable cabin space, and a smoother, safer ride. The world needs affordable, lightweight Smart EVs and AVs—purpose-built for delivery and ride-hail. That’s exactly what we’re building at indiGO Technologies.”

indiGO Technologies Secures $54M Series BB Funding from FedEx, Foxconn, and FM Capital
On April 29, 2025, indiGO Tech (Tradename: GO) announced the successful close of a $54 million Series BB funding round. This round includes strategic investments from FedEx, Foxconn, and FM Capital, significantly accelerating GO’s mission to deliver clean, smart, and accessible local transportation for the gig economy and urban mobility.
At the heart of GO’s innovation is its patented SmartWheels™—an integrated smart suspension and propulsion system embedded directly into each wheel.
IndiGO Technologies Closed Strategic Investment From Foxconn in March 2024
On March 25, 2024, IndiGO Technologies announced it received a strategic investment from Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn), the world’s largest electronics manufacturer. The investment, which cleared regulatory approval, supercharged Indigo’s development of next-generation light utility EVs purpose-built for ride-hail, delivery, and autonomous transportation services.
IndiGO’s proprietary SmartWheels™ enables a completely reimagined EV architecture: lighter, smoother, roomier, and more cost-efficient. These vehicles are not only engineered for the future of mobility but are also designed to deliver superior economics and a better ride experience for the millions of gig workers, delivery drivers, and fleet operators who rely on transportation for their livelihoods.
“Our cities, citizens and businesses need affordable and desirable EVs that improve safety, utility and comfort,” said Will Graylin, CEO of IndiGO. “We are thrilled to be partnering with Foxconn on the mission to create technology for smart living and deliver the next generation of lighter, more cost effective EVs for sustainable mobility at scale. Foxconn’s Chief Strategy Officer for Electric Vehicles Mr. Jun Seki, who was former CEO of Nidec and COO of Nissan, joins Indigo’s Board of Directors adding further innovation depth and global supply chain connections as we launch vehicles in 2025”.

IndiGO’s EVs: FLOW and DASH
The first SmartWheels™-powered vehicle, Indigo FLOW, is designed with ride-hail and light delivery in mind. With 180 cubic feet of usable space, 200+ miles of range, and a target price near $37,000, FLOW redefines its class with a flat floor, spacious cabin, and ultra-smooth ride quality. It is expected to hit U.S. roads in late 2026.
Next in line is IndiGO DASH, a smaller, nimble smart EV tailored for high-efficiency urban delivery fleets. Priced around $27,000, DASH will offer 90 cubic feet of cargo space and 140 miles of range. All indiGO EVs will qualify for state and federal incentives, expecting $7,500-$10,500 rebated from the EV’s already low MSRPs. With fleet-focused telematics and sensor technology connected to Indigo’s cloud-based TaaS platform, DASH will help reduce operational risk and lower total cost of ownership. Commercial deliveries are set for late 2025.
GO Loop: A Game-Changer for Gig Economy Support
GO is not just building EVs—it’s building a full Smart Mobility Services ecosystem. The upcoming managed GO Loop service hubs will provide gig drivers with access to charged, maintained, and road-ready GO EVs, enabling them to earn income with maximum flexibility and minimal hassle.
These EV hubs aim to solve the most persistent challenges gig drivers face: lack of charging infrastructure, high vehicle costs, and long maintenance downtimes.
GO’s diverse and talented team spans the United States, Europe, and Asia, united by a shared vision of democratizing access to clean, intelligent, and profitable mobility.
“GO is run by MIT entrepreneurs with patented deep tech applied to the growing needs of drivers and fleets.” Will Graylin, CEO, said. Will Graylin, who led four previous tech ventures to reach mass commercial scale, including Samsung Pay. “Our SmartWheels powered EVs, and AVs offer superior user experiences and unit economics for ride hail and delivery companies and drivers to better serve their communities.”
Accelerating Autonomous Delivery and Mobility
In a major strategic move, GO acquired Clevon, a leader in unmanned delivery vehicles with advanced teleoperations and autonomous driving systems (ADS). This acquisition positions GO to accelerate the deployment of modular SmartWheels™ platforms and to integrate with top ADS providers across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
Backed by Strategic Industry Leaders
With backing from FedEx and Foxconn, GO is now poised to scale its GO Loop services, launch the Dash electric vehicle, and finalize its Series C funding round with the support of TD Cowen, targeting large institutional and additional strategic investors. The company launches its Flow EV into commercial markets specifically for Last Mile Delivery and Rideshare.
The Foxconn Connection
Foxconn’s investment marks a significant step forward in its own electric vehicle ambitions. As a global powerhouse in electronics manufacturing—with over 1 million employees and $198 billion in annual revenue—Foxconn brings world-class supply chain capabilities, scalability, and a commitment to sustainability.
Foxconn’s move to back Indigo supports its strategic push into emerging industries such as EVs, digital health, robotics, AI, and semiconductors—all pillars of its long-term innovation agenda.
