Stak Mobility Chosen for New Cox Cleantech Startup Accelerator Cohort
Stak Mobility, a fast-rising innovator in urban infrastructure, has been selected to join the latest cohort of the Cox Cleantech Accelerator, a 12-week program launched in partnership between Cox Enterprises, gener8tor, and the Georgia Cleantech Innovation Hub. The initiative, part of Cox’s broader $2 billion commitment to sustainable technologies, is designed to fast-track high-potential startups solving environmental and infrastructure challenges across the Southeastern United States. Cox released the news on July 31, 2025 on PR Newswire.
Stak Mobility is reimagining city parking by combining vertical parking automation with scalable EV charging solutions. Its self-service “EV Carousel” platforms are modular, efficient, and capable of parking and charging 6 to 14 vehicles in the space of just two traditional parking spots. These prefabricated systems can be deployed in as little as seven days, dramatically reducing the time and cost typically associated with structured parking developments.
At its core, Stak’s technology transforms parking, one of urban development’s most persistent headaches, into a platform for climate action and increased land value. By reducing the vehicle footprint by up to 85% and boosting EV charging capacity by 700%, Stak is helping cities, developers, and fleet operators maximize efficiency and sustainability.
The company’s mobile-first platform delivers an intuitive, self-service experience for drivers while providing operators with real-time management tools, remote troubleshooting, and automated oversight. The benefits of the Stak Platform are wide-ranging:
Space-Efficient: Frees up land for higher-revenue uses like housing or retail
Automated & Safe: Remote controls and access systems reduce on-site staffing while protecting users and vehicles
Cost-Effective: Streamlined modular design cuts capital and operational expenses
Energy-Smart: Integrated batteries and scalable EV charging support energy optimization
Rapid Deployment: Pre-built units allow for lightning-fast assembly
As part of the Accelerator, Stak will receive $100,000 in investment, tailored mentorship from Cox Enterprises executives, and hands-on support across product development, customer acquisition, and fundraising. The goal: to help startups like Stak gain traction with first customers, validate their business models, and scale their innovations regionally and nationally.
Stak Project: Enso Village, Healdsburg, CA
Stak’s website lists this project as one that maximizes property value through its innovative system.
Enso Village, 1801 Boxheart Dr, Healdsburg, CA 95448
Capacity: 108 EV-ready vertical spaces
Footprint: 3,500 square feet
Efficiency: 32 sf/vehicle
Impact: Preservation of 30,000 sf of buildable area
“Stak’s Healdsburg, CA project highlighted here is in partnership with The Kendal Corporation. We’re also excited about our partnership with Zipcar, where we now provide a vending machine style EV carsharing experience at our site in Pittsburgh. We worked with Penrose Advisors on our first Pittsburgh site with a second site in the city currently under construction,” said Diallo Powell, Co-founder & CEO at Stak.

“Stak’s solution has made valet operations more efficient and dependable for our community. Residents and employees experience quicker service with less congestion, and our staff can focus more on hospitality than managing vehicles or EV charging,” said Kelly Hall, Resident Services Manager, Enso Village.
Cox Cleantech Accelerator
The Cox Cleantech Accelerator’s new cohort includes five trailblazing companies using AI, automation, and clean energy tools to improve urban resilience and environmental outcomes:
FNN: Real-time lightning detection that helps utilities and wildlife managers pinpoint ignitions and minimize damage
Uptime Analytics: AI-driven tools to reduce industrial emissions and energy waste across sectors like water and cement
Prezerv: A 3D AI mapping platform that locates underground utilities to prevent costly construction delays
WhyGrene: A clean energy management system enabling utilities and microgrids to simulate energy flows and create virtual power plants
Stak Mobility: Making EV adoption feasible by solving the urban parking puzzle with vertical towers that park and charge at scale
This marks a key moment for Stak Mobility, as the company joins a selective cohort chosen from a highly competitive applicant pool. Notably, the program welcomed its first international startup this round, signaling the growing global interest in cleantech innovation centered in Atlanta and the broader Southeast.
The Cox Cleantech Accelerator is held twice annually and remains open to any early-stage startup addressing climate and environmental challenges through technology. The program also places a priority on working with diverse founders whose communities are disproportionately affected by climate change, building a more inclusive and resilient innovation ecosystem.
With the support of Cox and the broader accelerator network, Stak Mobility is poised to expand its impact, helping to reclaim space, reduce emissions, and electrify urban mobility, one parking tower at a time.
