GO TO-U Brings Fast, Reservable EV Charging to Chula Vista, CA

Lyubov Artemenko, Co-Founder and COO of GO TO-U, announced from her LinkedIn account on November 20, 2025, that FLITWAY and GO TO-U have launched a new electric vehicle (EV) charging experience in California. The first site is now live at Eastlake Village Center in Chula Vista, in the San Diego region, featuring six 60kW fast chargers equipped with CCS1 and NACS connectors, designed for drivers who are tired of guessing, waiting, or circling for an available charger.

According to Artemenko, the GO TO-U model transforms the charging experience by allowing drivers to reserve a time slot in advance, ensuring a charger is ready upon arrival. Users can view key details ahead of time, including pricing, charging speed, and connector type. The process is simple: arrive, plug in, charge, and continue on without delays or lines.

She emphasized that the site is fully software-managed, offering clear data on usage, performance, and revenue while delivering a smoother, more predictable experience for every driver.

The new site is located at Eastlake Village Center, 2260 Otay Lakes Road, in Chula Vista. Drivers in the San Diego area are encouraged to stop by, try the service, and experience what it’s like when EV charging is planned instead of random.

GO TO-U: Redefining the EV Charging Experience

GO TO-U is reshaping how drivers think about EV charging by building a smarter, more predictable, and more human-centered experience. The company’s mission is simple: eliminate uncertainty, reduce friction, and make charging as seamless as every other part of modern mobility. Instead of relying on the “hope for the best” model that dominates much of today’s EV infrastructure, GO TO-U delivers a platform where reliability, planning, and convenience come first.

At the heart of GO TO-U is its reservation-based system, which removes one of the biggest frustrations for EV drivers—showing up to a station with no idea if a charger will be available or working. With GO TO-U, drivers book a time slot, see all relevant details in advance, and arrive knowing a charger is ready and waiting. The experience mirrors the ease of a restaurant reservation or a rideshare pickup: predictable, transparent, and built around the user.

GO TO-U’s technology also gives site hosts and operators powerful tools to manage their charging assets. The platform is fully software-driven, providing clear visibility into usage, performance, and revenue. This allows operators to optimize their sites, reduce downtime, and deliver a superior experience for every driver who plugs in. By integrating innovative charging hardware with intelligent software, GO TO-U enables stations that are not only dependable but also highly profitable.

Since its founding, GO TO-U has focused on selecting and deploying advanced charging technologies that overcome the operational barriers facing today’s EV ecosystem. Whether installed at retail centers, hotels, workplaces, or dedicated charging hubs, GO TO-U sites are designed to deliver a consistent and enjoyable experience that aligns with the company’s vision for the future of mobility.

GO TO-U continues to expand across North America and globally with a clear purpose: to make EV charging something drivers can count on, not a gamble. With its reservation system, intuitive platform, and commitment to reliability, GO TO-U is setting a new standard for what EV charging can be.

EVinfo.net’s Take: The Great Value of Making Reservations for EV Charging

GO TO-U is first-mover on reservations for EV charging. As electric vehicles become a mainstream choice for drivers everywhere, one challenge continues to frustrate EV owners: finding an available charger when they need it most. While the charging network is growing rapidly, demand often grows even faster, especially in busy cities, apartment communities, workplaces, and popular travel corridors. That’s where charging reservations are emerging as a transformative solution.

Being able to reserve a charger in advance brings clarity to a process that used to be filled with uncertainty. Instead of circling a parking lot or hoping a spot frees up, drivers can schedule a session ahead of time and arrive knowing exactly when and where they’ll charge. This simple improvement reduces stress, saves time, and helps drivers plan their day with confidence.

Reservations also deliver meaningful benefits for property owners, operators, and fleets. When charging appointments are scheduled, usage becomes far more predictable. Operators gain visibility into peak periods, can better manage power loads, and often achieve higher station uptime. Drivers, meanwhile, experience shorter wait times and fewer congested charging stations.

For apartment residents, one of the fastest growing EV segments, reservations solve a long standing problem. Many multifamily buildings have far fewer chargers than EVs, creating nightly competition for limited plugs. A reservation system ensures fairness and gives tenants the convenience of knowing they’ll have access at the time they need.

The advantages extend even further for long distance travelers. Booking a charger ahead of time eliminates one of the biggest concerns on road trips: availability. With a reserved slot, drivers can build predictable itineraries instead of gambling on a free charger along the route.

Most importantly, reservations elevate the overall EV ownership experience. They turn charging from a potential hassle into a smooth, predictable, and dependable part of daily life. As more networks adopt reservation systems, the EV ecosystem becomes friendlier, more efficient, and better prepared for the next wave of adoption.

The future of charging isn’t just faster, it’s smarter. And reservations are one of the simplest ways to get there.
