synergEV Announces Acquisition of ChargePro, Expanding US Footprint by More Than 400 Charge Points

On December 16, 2025, synergEV, a cleantech infrastructure company, announced the acquisition of the ChargePro EV Network, significantly expanding its presence across the United States. The transaction adds more than 400 charge points to the synergEV network and strengthens the company’s position across multiple market verticals, while expanding access to EV charging throughout the Midwest.

With the acquisition now complete, synergEV has assumed full operational management of the ChargePro EV Network. A full system migration and integration is scheduled for completion by the end of the first quarter of 2026. The expansion increases synergEV’s network scale by nearly 50 percent, driven by continued investment in technology and operational innovation.

“The acquisition of ChargePro EV is one of several strategic initiatives we are executing as we scale in 2026,” said Dylan Michlin, Vice President of Business Development at synergEV. “What we built in 2025 gives us the confidence to grow rapidly through technology and innovation. This move accelerates our mission to deliver the most reliable, intelligent, and user-centric EV charging experience in the industry.”

ChargePro site hosts and customers will immediately benefit from access to synergEV’s AI-driven diagnostics and remote troubleshooting platform, designed to improve charger uptime, reduce service delays, and enhance overall reliability. As integration progresses, customers will also gain access to synergEV’s full portfolio of hardware and software solutions, unlocking additional capabilities across the network.

During the transition, drivers can continue to activate and manage charging sessions using the ChargePro, synergEV, EV Connect, ChargePoint, and Shell Recharge mobile applications, ensuring uninterrupted access at all ChargePro locations. ChargePro users will also be eligible for synergEV’s AutoCharge feature, enabling seamless, plug-and-go charging.

“This acquisition is a win for drivers, site hosts, and the future of EV infrastructure,” said Francisco “Paco” Aguirre, CEO of synergEV. “The technology we are deploying sets a new benchmark for performance, reliability, and user experience across charging networks.”

synergEV’s mission is to help EV station owners, hosts, and operators achieve a 99% charging success rate by providing intelligent, reliable infrastructure management. The company delivers a fully hands-off charging solution through its proprietary synergize AI platform, which proactively monitors network performance, detects issues in real time, and resolves problems before they affect drivers. This approach reduces the need for human intervention, accelerates problem resolution, and ensures maximum uptime across charging networks.

With extensive experience installing and managing EV charging infrastructure, synergEV creates a seamless, dependable experience for station owners, hosts, and operators, enabling charging networks to perform consistently and efficiently.
