World EV Forum Debuts as a Global Platform to Accelerate Electric Mobility
The alignment of clean energy, autonomous technology, and artificial intelligence is ushering in a new phase of coordinated, large-scale collaboration.
The worldwide shift toward electric vehicles (EVs) has arrived at a defining moment. The core technologies are in place. Government support continues to strengthen. What has not yet existed is a unified global framework designed specifically to drive this transition forward: an international body equipped with the authority, participation, and strategy required to advance electrification at the pace and magnitude climate goals require, while integrating the intersections of energy, AI, and autonomy.
The World EV Forum has been established to meet this need.
Ade Thomas, Founder, puts it simply: “The sector clearly needs a new layer: a global platform to accelerate the EV ecosystem. Working with 75 global partners, we can both contribute to, and benefit from, the systems thinking, scale partnerships, and proprietary research that will define the work of the World EV Forum.”
No current organization unites electric mobility, clean energy, autonomous systems, and artificial intelligence under a single coordinated mission. These domains are deeply interconnected and evolve together. Progress in one area directly influences outcomes in the others. Clean energy supplies the grid. Autonomous systems transform mobility patterns. AI and software enable smarter infrastructure. Electric mobility ties each of these components together.
“Electrification will move fastest when it is treated as a system, not a silo. It requires innovation in the vehicle, and across energy, infrastructure and software. That is exactly where the World EV Forum will help, by bringing the right sectors together.” Ted Cannis, Chair, World EV Forum Leadership Council.
The World EV Forum is built upon four core initiatives: ElectricDrives, World EV Day, Women Leading EV, and the EV SUMMIT. Each represents a critical aspect of the global transition toward intelligent and sustainable transportation. Combined, they create a cohesive platform focused not only on dialogue, but on driving measurable progress through coordinated programs, campaigns, and events.
A key objective of the Forum is to support regulators and standards organizations in addition to industry participants. Policymakers require structured insights, practical frameworks, and effective communication tools to convert complex system dynamics into implementable policy. The Forum delivers these capabilities through evidence-based analysis and coordinated advocacy, helping leaders act with clarity across jurisdictions.
Its ecosystem includes automakers, energy companies, technology firms, investors, and civil society organizations, enabling not just discussion but the formation of partnerships and execution strategies capable of scaling globally.
Breakthroughs in sustainable transportation will not emerge from isolated efforts. They will result from collaboration across interconnected sectors, guided by an organization with the expertise, reach, and partnerships to align them effectively.
The World EV Forum is positioned to serve that role, and its launch marks a timely step forward.

About Ade Thomas, Founder
Ade Thomas has spent his entire career in sustainability communications, beginning in radio at the BBC before moving into television. A pivotal moment came when he was selected by Jeremy Paxman to serve as a personal researcher on the bestselling book The English, an opportunity that significantly accelerated his career.

He later joined the World Wide Fund for Nature as a TV news producer, where he earned recognition for a series on forest fires in Brazil. That work involved more than a month filming in the Amazon rainforest and resulted in an industry award.
With the rise of broadband internet, Thomas founded Green.TV, initially focused on video content before expanding into a full-service communications agency with a multi-channel approach.
From 2018 onward, Green.TV became a leading force in e-mobility media and events. The organization launched major initiatives including the EV Summit, World EV Day, Ebike Summit, and ElectricDrives. In 2021, it introduced the Decarbonisation Summit to drive broader industry collaboration. The following year, it co-created EV LIVE at Blenheim Palace, a large-scale public-facing e-mobility event.
In 2025, Thomas launched Better.Global, shifting focus toward strategy and thought leadership within the sustainability sector. By 2026, his platforms, campaigns, and events are aligned around this global thought leadership vision.
