OpConnect Opens New Portland Headquarters to Support Nationwide EV Charging Growth

OpConnect, Inc., a well-respected provider of turnkey electric vehicle charging solutions, opened a new headquarters in Portland, Oregon, as the company continues expanding its ability to serve EV charging customers across North America.

The company relocated its headquarters to 115 SE Yamhill St. in Portland. The new facility represents OpConnect’s third move since its founding and provides additional space for the company’s continued growth, manufacturing operations and research and development activities.

The headquarters officially opened during a grand-opening event on August 18, 2026. U.S. Senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley, Oregon State Representative Rob Nosse and Portland Mayor Keith Wilson joined OpConnect employees, investors, customers, partners, vendors and community leaders for the event.

The celebration included remarks from company and community leaders, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours of the new facility and demonstrations of OpConnect’s charging technology.

The new headquarters is designed to support OpConnect’s manufacturing operations while providing the space and electrical infrastructure needed for research and development involving advanced EV charging technologies.

Among the technologies targeted for continued development are battery-backed charging, bidirectional charging and microgrids. These systems can play an important role as electric vehicle adoption expands and organizations look for more flexible approaches to managing charging infrastructure and energy demand.

OpConnect already provides charging infrastructure supporting fleet electrification efforts for organizations throughout the region. Its customers include the City of Portland, Multnomah County, Beaverton School District and Portland General Electric.

The company currently serves customers across 36 states and three Canadian provinces. As OpConnect expands its EV charging business, the company said its growth will also contribute to clean-energy employment and supply-chain spending in Oregon.

Patrick Mann Joins OpConnect

Patrick Mann is an EV charging industry professional and sales executive with extensive experience in EV infrastructure, site development, commercial real estate, and technology sales. Mann recently joined OpConnect as a Sales Executive, following roles at ALLO Fiber, CGO Solutions, EVPassport, and EVgo.

His EV experience includes developing DC fast-charging and Level 2 solutions, building multimillion-dollar sales pipelines, educating major companies about EV charging investments, and expanding charging infrastructure through relationships with property owners, utilities, architects, construction firms, and other stakeholders. At EVgo, Mann managed site development and helped expand DC fast-charging infrastructure across the Southwest and Northwest.
