Joint Office Releases Public EV Charging Infrastructure Playbook

The Joint Office of Energy and Transportation (Joint Office) recently released the “Public Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Playbook,” for those interested in the installation of public electric vehicle (EV) charging in the United States. The guide presents comprehensive information on EV charging installation, including how to leverage federal NEVI funding.

This guide is designed to help users navigate the key considerations for planning and deploying EV infrastructure. It includes guiding questions, informative videos, practical worksheets, and additional resources to drive local progress and ensure effective implementation of EV charging solutions. It consists of eight modules: Planning, Engagement, Siting, Funding, Policies, Regulations, Procurement, and Revenue.

Module 1 – Developing EV Infrastructure Plans
