The California Air Resources Board and CALSTART are bringing zero-emission transportation technology directly to San Diego with a hands-on Showcase + Ride & Drive event at Pechanga Arena on April 29, 2026.

The event will feature a wide range of medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles, including Class 2b through Class 8 trucks, commercial vans, school and transit buses, as well as off-road equipment. Designed for fleet operators, policymakers, industry professionals, and the general public, the showcase offers a practical look at how clean transportation solutions are being deployed today.

Attendees will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of zero-emission vehicles, participate in ride-alongs in commercial trucks, and engage directly with manufacturers and industry experts. A valid driver’s license is required for those interested in test driving vehicles, while media and other participants can join ride-alongs as passengers. The event is free and open to the public.
