Stable Auto’s Engineering Team Joins EVgo
This week, the engineering team at Stable Auto, providing software that helps investors, developers, and operators forecast, deploy, and optimize EV charging infrastructure, joined EVgo.
Scott Levitan, EVgo’s EVP of Growth, said “The Stable team spent years learning how to make charging infrastructure smarter. Bringing that expertise to the scale of EVgo’s network will help build the future of EV charging.”
Rohan Puri, CEO at Stable Auto, said: “Almost a decade ago, we started Stable Auto with a simple belief: that better data could make EV charging actually work – for drivers, for the operators building the infrastructure, and for the investors funding it.
Today, the Stable team is joining EVgo. Seeing the expertise this team built over years get the chance to shape one of the largest fast charging networks in the country is a great outcome, and I couldn’t be prouder of where everyone landed.
Some thank yous are in order!
To my co-founder, Jamie Schiel. We built this together from day one – through every pivot, every hard call, and every win. None of it happens without you.
To the team – past and present. You built models the whole industry came to rely on, often with fewer resources than the problem deserved. Everything Stable became is because of you.
To our investors. You backed us early, when EV charging analytics wasn’t an obvious bet, and you stayed thoughtful partners through every twist. Thank you for the trust.
To our customers and partners. You let us into your data, your planning decisions, and your capital processes. Working alongside you to make charging infrastructure smarter was the privilege of this whole run.
To the broader EV charging community. This industry is so great because it is full of people who genuinely want to get charging right. It made the hard days easier and the good days better.
And to my amazing wife, Aarti Daryanani, who lived every high and low of this journey alongside me.
This is the end of one chapter for me… but there’s so much more to do for this planet – more on that in the coming months.”

EVgo: Building the Fast-Charging Network Needed for America’s Electric Future
The transition to electric vehicles depends on more than automakers producing new EV models. A successful electrified transportation future requires a reliable, convenient, and accessible charging network that gives drivers confidence wherever they travel. EVgo has become one of the leading companies working to build that infrastructure across the United States.
Founded in 2010, EVgo has focused exclusively on expanding public fast-charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. The company operates one of the nation’s largest public fast-charging networks, with more than 1,200 fast-charging locations across 47 states. EVgo’s network serves drivers in communities nationwide while placing chargers near everyday destinations such as shopping centers, restaurants, grocery stores, and businesses.
As EV adoption continues growing, public fast charging has become a critical part of the transportation ecosystem. While home charging remains the primary option for many EV owners, fast-charging networks enable long-distance travel, support drivers without home charging access, and provide essential infrastructure for commercial fleets, rideshare drivers, and future autonomous vehicles.
EVgo has also continued upgrading its network to support the next generation of electric vehicles. The company is expanding compatibility with the North American Charging Standard (NACS) connector as more automakers adopt the technology. EVgo announced plans to deploy hundreds of additional NACS connectors in 2026, helping improve charging access for a wider range of EV drivers, including Tesla owners and new EV models using the connector.
Beyond individual drivers, EVgo plays a major role in supporting businesses, utilities, automakers, and fleet operators transitioning to electric transportation. The company works with partners to deploy charging stations in locations where drivers already spend time, creating new opportunities for retailers and property owners while expanding the availability of charging.

Stable Auto: Using Data Intelligence to Build a Smarter EV Charging Network
The expansion of electric vehicle charging infrastructure is entering a new phase. While thousands of chargers are being deployed across North America and around the world, one of the biggest challenges facing investors and charging operators is determining where chargers should be built, how they will perform, and how to maximize their long-term profitability.
Stable Auto solves that challenge by providing data-driven intelligence tools designed specifically for the EV charging industry. The company helps investors, charging network operators, and infrastructure developers evaluate potential locations, forecast demand, and optimize existing charging networks.
Unlike traditional transportation infrastructure, EV charging demand is still evolving. A charger’s success depends on many factors, including local EV adoption, traffic patterns, nearby businesses, charging competition, pricing strategies, and driver behavior. Stable uses real-world charging data to help companies better understand these variables before investing millions of dollars into new infrastructure.
