EV Realty Announces Acquisition of Industrial Property for Fleet Charging in Ontario, California
On September 17, 2026, EV Realty, a developer and operator of high-power fleet charging hubs, announced the acquisition of a strategically located industrial property in Ontario, California, that will become the site of a future EV Realty Powered Properties® fleet charging hub.
The new site at 2151 E. Philadelphia Street is located in the West Coast’s largest and most concentrated warehousing submarket and is ideally positioned to support freight and logistics operations. The property offers excellent access to the east-west SR-60 and north-south I-15 freeways and is positioned to provide charging for fleets serving the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, as well as intermodal facilities in Los Angeles and San Bernardino.
The property is also just three miles from Ontario International Airport, one of the top 10 cargo airports in the country and a major hub for air freight operations by companies including UPS and FedEx. Construction is expected to begin in 2027.
“Ontario sits at the convergence of the nation’s largest container gateway and the densest warehouse cluster in North America. This part of Southern California is among the most important freight hubs in the world and is the epicenter of truck electrification for this country,” said EV Realty CEO Patrick Sullivan. “When this site comes online, EV Realty will have 27 MW of simultaneous truck charging capacity between the ports and the Inland Empire. This is how we start to see real scale, finding power in the right locations and building infrastructure to meet growing demand.”
EV Realty has worked with Southern California Edison to confirm and reserve the grid power required to provide 9 MW of simultaneous charging at the Ontario site. The electric grid in the surrounding area is severely constrained, highlighting the value of the high-capacity property for fleet operators that require power in the region.

Along with EV Realty’s other existing and planned Powered Properties® charging hubs throughout California, the Ontario facility is expected to provide greater operational flexibility for fleets as vehicle electrification expands.
The acquisition follows several recent developments as EV Realty continues expanding its Powered Properties® platform, beginning in Southern California. In April 2026, the company opened a 9 MW truck charging depot in San Bernardino with 76 charging ports. EV Realty plans to break ground on its next site closer to the ports in Torrance later this year.
The company also recently announced that former Prologis and Shell executive Henrik Holland has joined EV Realty as President. Holland will lead efforts to expand the business into additional markets and verticals.
