Driving electric vehicle adoption

Green Wave Electric Vehicles Helps Drivers Save Money and the Environment

Based on the seacoast of New Hampshire, Green Wave Electric Vehicles provides used electric vehicles, plug in hybrid electric vehicles, and EV charging solutions with a clear vision: to make more EVs more affordable for more people. The company was built from the ground up with environmental responsibility, social equity and community impact at the core of its mission.

Jesse Lore is the founder of Green Wave Electric Vehicles. Evinfo.net had the honor of speaking with Lore.

Lore said: “We plant 100 trees every time someone buys a vehicle from us. To date, we have planted 111,300 trees (sold just over 1,100 used EVs). We ask people how much they drive (miles per year), and what they get for fuel economy.  We use that to calculate their CO2 savings. Through December of last year, we have helped people reduce their CO2 by 3.1 Million kg/CO2 annually. We also use AAA Your Driving Costs to estimate their cost savings. We have helped people save over $1.1M annually by making the switch to an EV.”

“We are proud to offer nearly all makes and models of EV’s under $50,000, at competitive prices, all coming with a free warranty, with great financing available through local banks and credit unions. We also offer home charging,” Lore continued.

Lore has long been passionate about strengthening communities and contributing to a better world. Raised in New Hampshire, he began his career after college working for private nonprofits that served people with disabilities in community settings. There, he saw firsthand how essential transportation is to quality of life.

For individuals who cannot drive or who require specialized vehicles, access to reliable transportation determines whether they can work, maintain relationships, and participate fully in their communities. A significant part of his role involved solving complex transportation challenges for people with complex needs.

More than a decade ago, Lore transitioned into the automotive industry, working for a company that provided vehicles for people with disabilities. He developed deep expertise in a specialized sector where customers were moving from standard vehicles to wheelchair accessible models. He helped build wheelchair accessible taxi systems in major metropolitan areas across the country, including New York City, where he sold hundreds of accessible cabs. Through this work, he gained a detailed understanding of how people use vehicles to support their livelihoods, health, and daily lives, while balancing personal preferences and financial constraints.

As the automotive industry underwent rapid electrification, Lore watched closely. Although electric vehicles have existed for more than a century, the past decade has seen dramatic growth. With Tesla accelerating mainstream adoption, EVs became faster, more technologically advanced, and capable of operating without greenhouse gas emissions. Lore appreciated the safety, reliability, service networks, and compliance standards of traditional automakers, and did not initially see himself as an early EV adopter. Cost and range anxiety were real concerns.

When Ford introduced the fully electric Mustang Mach E crossover, his perspective shifted. As a longtime Ford owner, he trusted the brand’s engineering and reliability. After calculating fuel savings, reduced maintenance costs, and the federal tax credit, he determined that ownership would cost less than two hundred dollars more per month than his previous vehicle. Following a test drive, he purchased his first fully electric vehicle. Today, his household is entirely electric, with his wife driving a Tesla Model X and his daughter driving a Chevrolet Bolt. The transition has enhanced, not limited, their lifestyle.

In late 2022, Lore incorporated Green Wave Electric Vehicles, becoming New Hampshire’s first and only auto dealer focused specifically on used EVs and plug in hybrids. Since then, the company has helped many individuals, families, and businesses transition from gasoline to electric transportation and continues to expand its impact from its location in North Hampton, New Hampshire. Recently, the company opened a new location at 207 Highland Ave, Salem, MA 01970.

EVinfo.net’s Take: Dealerships Are Preparing for Mass EV Adoption in the USA

Dealers all across the USA are stepping it up on EV knowledge, sales skills, charging and more as mass EV adoption is coming soon, due mostly to lower costs. My EV Charger is one of many great companies installing charging for dealerships, as we recently reported.

EVs are also the most eco friendly vehicle. EVs offer stable pricing for charging as gasoline prices have skyrocketed recently. EVs also require far less maintenance.

How Lectrium Is Changing the Way Dealers Sell EVs

Selling electric vehicles is not like selling a traditional car. Shoppers arrive at the dealership with questions that most salespeople struggle to answer on the spot: How far will it actually go? How do I charge it at home? Will it work for my commute? These are real concerns, and unanswered questions kill deals.

Lectrium was built to solve exactly that problem. Trusted by more than 500 automotive dealers, Lectrium offers an electrified merchandising platform that plugs directly into a dealership’s existing website and handles EV education before a shopper ever walks through the door.

The centerpiece of the platform is the Lectrium Dashboard, an all-in-one display that shows shoppers range, charging options, ownership costs, and savings estimates for any specific vehicle on the lot. Range maps let buyers check real-world driving distance from their home or workplace and find nearby fast chargers instantly. Side-by-side comparisons of Level 1 and Level 2 charging help remove one of the most common objections in the EV sales process.

The results speak for themselves. Dealers using Lectrium have seen 16% lower bounce rates on vehicle detail pages, twice the EV lead volume, and 58% more key events clicked. High-intent leads flow automatically into CRM systems, giving sales teams an EV-specific report to support smarter follow-ups.

Lectrium integrates seamlessly with major website providers including Dealer.com, Dealer Inspire, and DealerOn, and supports custom branding for auto groups and OEM guidelines. Built-in analytics, powered by Google Analytics GA4 event tracking, give marketing teams clear visibility into how shoppers are engaging with electrified inventory.

For dealers looking to move more EVs and keep customers doing their research on their own website rather than a competitor’s, Lectrium is worth a close look. Visit lectrium.com to learn more.
