EV Edison Launches Largest Multi-Class EV Charging Hub on the East Coast
On June 24, 2025, EV Edison, a leading developer of electric vehicle infrastructure, announced the launch of its flagship charging and fleet services hub. Strategically located in Kearny, New Jersey, just minutes from the Port of Newark, the Holland Tunnel, and major interstates, this site offers EV fleet operators a comprehensive ecosystem designed for seamless, large-scale operations. The first phase of the facility features 30 Zerova Technologies high-power ports, each capable of delivering 180 kW, making it the largest multi-class charging hub on the East Coast. Plans for future expansions promise even greater capacity to meet the growing demand for commercial EV charging and support services.
The site is powered by Zerova Technologies with fifteen 180KW standalone ultra-fast DC chargers. These high-performance chargers provide the scalable, high-reliability infrastructure needed to support both heavy-duty freight and public EV charging, reinforcing EV Edison’s commitment to building future-ready charging ecosystems.
The new hub is already powering real-world fleet operations for Einride, the pioneering freight technology company deploying electric and autonomous trucks worldwide. With its prime location and robust capacity, the Kearny facility also holds promise as a strategic base for electric transport ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, supporting logistics, media operations, and fan mobility across the region. The FIFA World Cup, often called the World Cup, is an international association football competition among the senior men’s national teams.
Developed on land owned by Hugo Neu Realty, a New Jersey-based industrial developer known for its sustainability and commitment to local economic growth, the site reinforces the region’s leadership in electrified commercial mobility.
“This facility is about more than charging—it’s about enabling next-generation logistics,” said Dr. Shihab Kuran, Executive Chairman of EV Edison. “We’re addressing the full operational needs of electrified fleets with scalable, high-power infrastructure that’s built to last.”

EV Edison’s Kearny hub is more than just a charging station; it offers a full-service environment for fleet operators. Drivers and teams can take advantage of around-the-clock secure access, ample parking and staging areas for commercial trucks, food and beverage services, and dedicated lounge and office spaces. The site also features publicly available charging for passenger EVs, ensuring that all kinds of electric vehicles can benefit.
“This facility gives us a strategic base to grow our electric fleet in the Northeast,” said Chelsea Thompson, Director of Operations at Einride. “EV Edison’s infrastructure, location, and operational services make it a natural partner as we expand access to clean freight solutions.”
“Kearny offers the ideal mix of space and power to scale EV charging and support fleet growth,” said David Daly, President of EV Edison. “It’s the perfect platform to drive zero-emission logistics in the region.”
EV Edison invites fleet operators, vehicle lessors, and logistics providers to contact the company to reserve access and explore partnership opportunities. Additional capacity and services are already in the pipeline for future phases at the Kearny site as well as new hubs across the greater New York metropolitan area. Real estate owners and commercial operators interested in deploying their own high-power EV charging stations are also encouraged to get in touch.
EV Edison develops and operates scalable, high-reliability EV charging hubs for fleets of all sizes. By combining energy infrastructure, logistics support, and user-centered design, EV Edison is empowering the transition to zero-emission transportation across the United States.
