Stellantis Opens Orders for the Next Generation Dodge Charger in Europe
Dodge has officially opened orders in Europe for the next-generation Charger lineup, introducing both all-electric and gasoline-powered versions of its iconic American muscle car. Celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2026, the eighth-generation Charger marks a new era for the brand by combining traditional muscle car performance with advanced technology and multiple powertrain options.
Built on Stellantis’ STLA Large multi-energy platform, the new Charger is available in both two-door and four-door body styles and offers European customers the choice between battery electric and internal combustion powertrains while maintaining Dodge’s signature performance-oriented identity.
The lineup includes the all-electric Dodge Charger Daytona and the gasoline-powered SIXPACK Dodge Charger, each available in R/T and Scat Pack trims.

The Dodge Charger Daytona is the brand’s first all-electric muscle car and the most powerful all-wheel-drive muscle car Dodge has ever produced. The Daytona Scat Pack delivers 670 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds, completing the quarter mile in 11.5 seconds. The Daytona R/T produces 536 horsepower, reaches 60 mph in 4.2 seconds, and runs the quarter mile in 12.4 seconds.
Both models use a 400-volt electrical architecture paired with a 100.5 kWh battery and dual Electric Drive Modules, one on each axle, providing standard all-wheel drive and immediate torque delivery. An available Track Package for the Daytona Scat Pack adds 16-inch Brembo brakes, adaptive suspension, larger staggered wheels, and a Drive Experience Recorder.
Dodge-exclusive features include PowerShot, which temporarily adds 40 horsepower at the press of a steering wheel button. The Daytona also introduces distinctive styling elements such as the aerodynamic R-Wing front design, illuminated Fratzog badging, and the Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system that delivers a unique performance sound experience for an electric vehicle.
Fast charging capabilities allow the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in approximately 27 minutes using a 350 kW DC fast charger. Drivers can add up to 110 km of driving range in about 10 minutes, while the battery is covered by an eight-year or 160,000 km warranty.
Inside, the Daytona features leather performance seats, ventilated and heated front seats, a heated flat-top and flat-bottom steering wheel, regenerative braking paddle shifters, a redesigned pistol-grip shifter, and a 64-color customizable Attitude Adjustment ambient lighting system.
For buyers who prefer internal combustion, Dodge is offering the SIXPACK-powered Charger equipped with a 3.0-liter Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six engine and standard all-wheel drive with an on-demand rear-wheel-drive mode.
The Scat Pack version produces 550 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds while completing the quarter mile in 12.2 seconds. The R/T model generates 420 horsepower, reaches 60 mph in 4.6 seconds, and completes the quarter mile in 12.9 seconds.
Performance features include Launch Control with five launch intensity settings and Line Lock, allowing drivers to perform controlled burnouts. Dodge says the advanced all-wheel-drive system improves acceleration while maintaining the ability to send 100% of torque to the rear wheels for drifting and other performance driving scenarios.

Across both powertrains, the Charger includes multiple drive modes, performance-oriented track settings, and advanced technologies designed to maximize driver engagement.
European Plus trims come standard with 20-inch wheels, power-adjustable front seats, premium LED lighting, a wireless charging pad, a 16-inch digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera system, and a head-up display.
Optional features include the Blacktop package, a panoramic glass roof, an 18-speaker Alpine Pro audio system, high-back performance seats, and Demonic Red interior seating.
Both Charger Daytona and SIXPACK models are equipped with Dodge’s I-DUV connectivity system, enabling real-time vehicle monitoring, geofencing alerts, theft detection, and EV charging functions where applicable.
Advanced driver assistance technologies include Level 2 assisted driving, blind spot detection, traffic sign recognition, drowsy driver detection, and automatic emergency braking.
According to Dodge Europe Brand Head Fabio Catone, the next-generation Charger brings the brand into a new era while preserving the performance, attitude, and emotional driving experience that have defined the nameplate for six decades.
European customers can now place orders through Dodge’s official importer, KWA, and its dealer network. Buyers will also receive a signed certificate of authenticity from Dodge CEO Matt McAlear and an exclusive welcome kit.
Customers purchasing the all-electric Charger Daytona during the launch period will also receive special pricing on a home charging station and installation through Free2move.
Pricing starts at €66,000, with first deliveries expected to begin in September 2026.
