Veloz Launches ‘$0.00 for Gas’ Roadside Billboards in 16 Markets

Drivers hitting the road this Memorial Day weekend may want to keep an eye out for new billboards by Veloz.

Through its national consumer education campaign, Electric For All: The Way Forward Is Electric, Veloz has launched a series of roadside billboards in 16 markets across the country designed to spark curiosity at a timely moment, gas station-style signs displaying a simple message: $0.00 for gas. The nonprofit announced the news on its Linkedin account on May 22, 2026.

Placed along high-traffic commuter and travel corridors during one of the busiest driving periods of the year, the activation taps into real consumer concerns about rising gas prices. For EV drivers, the cost of gas is $0.00, and the billboards create a moment to consider what driving electric can look like in real life as fuel costs remain top of mind for many Americans this holiday weekend.

Drivers who spot one in the wild are encouraged to share it. Head to Electric For All on Instagram to report billboard sightings and see creator reactions from across the country.

How Electric For All Is Changing the EV Conversation in America

The transition to electric vehicles is no longer just about technology. It is increasingly about education, accessibility, and helping everyday drivers understand how EVs fit into real life. That is the mission behind Electric For All, the national consumer education campaign powered by Veloz.

Launched in 2018, Electric For All was created to make EV information easier to understand and more accessible to consumers across the United States. The campaign focuses on practical benefits like fuel savings, home charging, incentives, lower maintenance costs, and the growing number of EV choices available today.

At the center of the campaign is the ElectricForAll.org platform, which allows consumers to compare electric vehicles, estimate savings, locate incentives by ZIP code, and explore charging options. The site also addresses common misconceptions about EV ownership through educational content designed for first-time buyers and curious consumers.

Over the years, Electric For All has become known for creative marketing campaigns aimed at making EVs feel relatable rather than intimidating. Early campaigns like “Opposites Attract” used humor and social media to show that EVs appeal to all types of drivers. The later “Kicking Gas” campaign featured Arnold Schwarzenegger humorously confronting gas-powered vehicles, helping bring EV messaging into mainstream pop culture.

In 2021, the “40 Million Reasons to Go Electric” campaign featured actors Mark Ruffalo and Chloe Bennet, connecting EV adoption to social, economic, and environmental themes.

More recently, Electric For All launched “The Way Forward Is Electric,” a nationwide campaign featuring Nick Offerman. The initiative emphasizes real-world consumer benefits including lower fuel costs, reduced maintenance, and available incentives while using straightforward messaging designed to resonate with mainstream drivers.

Electric For All also places strong emphasis on reaching underserved and multilingual communities. The platform offers resources in multiple languages and has partnered with organizations, utilities, automakers, charging companies, and public agencies to broaden awareness nationwide.

EVinfo.net recently reported announced the launch of the Real Stories hub on Electric For All. The interactive, brand-neutral platform features firsthand experiences from EV drivers across the United States.

As EV adoption continues to grow, campaigns like Electric For All are becoming an increasingly important part of the transition. Beyond selling vehicles, the effort is focused on helping consumers feel informed, confident, and prepared for the future of transportation.
