“The Electric Vehicle Association (EVA) had an amazing year in 2022″, said Elaine Borseth, EVA President.
The most impressive metric is that the organization increased their business memberships by over 700%, with increases in overall memberships by over 200%. Overall memberships included individual EV owners and EV adopters, (people considering buying or leasing an EV). The extremely fast-growing membership of EVA is indicative of the current rapid growth of EV adoption in the United States.
Some of EVA’s notable accomplishments in 2022
- Increased membership of business members by over 700%
- Changed name to Electric Vehicle Association with new updated logo
- Secured an Electrify America sponsorship allowing support to EVA chapters
- Helped shape EV friendly building codes and policy around the country to include charging options at multi family homes
- Hosted over 500 EV events of all sizes around North America
- Participated at Fully Charged LIVE with a large presence for education
- Held leadership meetings to support chapters
- Increased EVA member benefits to include discounts with NeoCharge SmartSplitter, Bluedot, EV Charging for Dummies, Recurrent Auto battery health reports and more
- Continued website improvements
- Increased paid support staff
- Hosted members only events including electric boat cruises, events at Aptera (a solar EV company) and more
