Small models such as the Fiat 500 offer an extended range and easy city parking. Sizes range from 11.91 feet for the Fiat 500, to 15.69 feet for the BMW i4.

2022 mass-produced model prices range from $27,400 for the 2022 Nissan LEAF S, to $140,500 for the luxury Lucid Air electric sedan. EV industry innovator Tesla offers Models S, 3 ,X & Y.

In race after race, EVs beat gas-powered vehicles for top speed and acceleration. As of 2021 the Rimac Nevera is the fastest EV with a top speed of 258 mph, making 0-60 mph in 1.85 seconds.
